The Clear Horizons Coalition is a coalition committed to fostering sustainable growth and environmental resilience throughout the State of New Mexico. Their goal is to transform New Mexico into a leader in energy & sustainability by harnessing the state’s unique environmental assets and cultural heritage, ensuring a thriving, sustainable future for all residents.

The organization is currently working to pass a series of bills that would reduce emissions in New Mexico. Part of those bills would provide a Community Benefit Fund to help support a just transition away from oil and gas.

To help tell the story of the need for a Community Benefits Fund, Single Space Strategies created an interactive dashboard and a printable one-pager showing projects that would be eligible for the fund that had applied for and been denied alternate funding.

These resources were particularly useful in the coalition’s fight for the bills to be passed in the 2025 legislative session. So far, all of them have passed their respective committees.
